Brandy is one of the mares who helped shape CSM into what it is today. She joined us in 2020 and quickly earned her spot as a favorite among both people and horses. Over the years, she’s raised an impressive ten foals (eight for us and two of her own) and she’s proven time and time again why she’s such a reliable mom. Brandy produces plenty of milk and takes her role as a nursemare very seriously. She is calm, patient, and steady with everyone she meets.

She has a sense of humor and a big personality. She’s been known to play “catch-me-if-you-can” when she’s turned out, which makes her a farm favorite to watch. But once she’s in a smaller paddock, she’s easy to approach, standing quietly as if she’s been waiting for you all along. This lady is low-maintenance and easy to have around. She occasionally needs front shoes, but otherwise keeps things simple. Brandy’s been with us for years, and she’s woven right into the story of this place, she is a true OG with a soft eye, a big heart, and a whole lot of personality.
