Calcy may be one of the newer faces in our herd, but she’s quickly earned her place among the farm’s most dependable girls. A kind, low-maintenance warmblood mare, she joined us in 2023 and has since raised four foals for us.

This year brought Calcy one of her toughest moments, she sadly lost her first orphan of the season in 2025. But just a few days later, she got a second chance when another foal in need came along, and she stepped right up to love and care for it as if it were her own. That quiet strength and big heart are what make her such a special part of the team.

Calcy has an easygoing temperament and loves the simple things, from being brushed to letting us milk her (which she seems to really enjoy!). She’s a steady mare who takes everything in stride and brings a calm presence to the pasture. When her nursemare days are behind her, Calcy will be available for adoption and ready to bring that same sweet, dependable spirit to a new home.
