Wild Catomine—known in our barn as Kathy—is a 2011 Thoroughbred mare whose résumé speaks for itself. A true standout on the racetrack, she earned an impressive $301,983 over her career, proving herself as a mare with speed, grit, and an unmatched work ethic.

But as extraordinary as she was on the track, Kathy’s work as a nursemare has earned her even more praise. Donated to us in 2022, she has since raised four orphan foals, each one benefiting from her steady mindset, natural discipline, and deep maternal instincts.

Kathy is nurturing, patient, and structured—a mare who knows how to guide a foal with both kindness and clarity.
