Lady G came to us from an unfortunate situation—she had just lost her last biological foal. Heartbroken and emotionally raw, she arrived at our farm in deep grief. It quickly became clear that Lady G was a sensitive soul who needed time, compassion, and space to heal.

She was defensive, wary of touch, and noticeably head-shy—signs that someone before us may not have handled her gently. She wasn’t mean. She was simply a mare who had lost trust in humans.

So in 2021, we gave her exactly what she needed: time.
