Born in 2005, Linka is a 20-year-old warmblood mare whose gentle spirit has made her a favorite among our team and the foals she has nurtured. With her natural “grandma vibes” and endlessly kindhearted nature, Linka has always been the steady presence every orphan foal hopes to find.

This year (2025), we made the thoughtful decision to retire Linka after she began showing signs of Cushing’s Disease, a very common endocrine condition in older horses. With proper monitoring and care, Linka will enjoy a well-earned retirement, please reach out if you would like to offer a soft spot spending her days in soft pastures and familiar company.
