StoneBridge Luna—known simply as Luna around the barn—is a 2009 Standardbred pacer who came to us in 2022. Since then, she has raised four orphan foals, each one benefiting from her steady presence, enormous heart, and unbelievable milk supply.

A solid, plain bay in the most classic Standardbred way, Luna is anything but ordinary. Around here, she is lovingly referred to as our “dairy cow milker.” This mare could feed anyone within a 12-mile radius—no exaggeration. Clients consistently rave about the abundance of milk she produces and the way she pours both nourishment and love into her foals.

Luna is known for her opinions—she’ll happily tell you what she thinks—but beneath that sass is a kind, devoted, and incredibly reliable nurse mare. She adores her pasture friends, thrives in a herd environment, and takes her mothering role seriously from the moment a foal is placed with her.
