Maggie is a 2013 Warmblood mare who joined ColdSpring in 2024 and stepped into nursemare life as if she had been doing it her whole life. From day one, she showed the heart of a seasoned mother.

With her very first orphan foal, Maggie was often found in the pasture allowing all the babies to sneak in for a nurse—and even share from her hay pile. Her generosity, patience, and gentle spirit made it instantly clear that this mare was something special.

Though she is one of our younger mares, Maggie has the heart and wisdom of an old soul. She is calm, steady, and incredibly kind. And to top it all off, she is absolutely stunning—inside and out.
