Sponsor Squeezie

Lemondropchic, lovingly known as Squeezie, was born in 2009 and joined ColdSpring in 2019, making her one of our treasured OG girls. Since then, she has raised eight orphan foals, each one thriving under her gentle, steady, motherly care.

Squeezie earned $0 on the racetrack, but that was simply because her true purpose wasn’t racing—it was nurturing. As a nursemare, she has absolutely blossomed, becoming one of the most dependable and beloved mares in our entire herd.

When she first arrived, she didn’t have a barn name, so we gave her one—and it fit her perfectly within days. Squeezie is exactly what her name suggests: soft, sweet, affectionate, and impossible not to love.

One of her most unique features is her moon blindness. She is blind in her left eye due to a condition known as Equine Recurrent Uveitis. When you look closely, the surface of her eye resembles the craters and glow of the moon—an exact little lunar landscape that even reflects light at night. It’s fascinating to see and, most importantly, it does not bother her at all. Squeezie navigates life with total confidence and ease.

A true “in-your-pocket” Thoroughbred, she adores people, seeks out affection, and brings a calming, loving energy everywhere she goes. Clients always request her because she is steady, uncomplicated, and full of heart.

Sponsoring Squeezie means supporting a mare whose sweetness, resilience, and purpose make her a treasure to every foal—and every person—who knows her.
